Hi there!

I'm Ainsleigh, and I write things that are slightly

strange, sometimes sad, and hopefully entertaining.

I have a BA in English Literature and an MA in

Creative Writing, and I have experience writing

in both the U.S. and the U.K.

My fiction lives in the space between the surreal and the everyday. I like to play with genre, but I tend to orbit around drama, comedy, and dialogue-heavy stories that let my characters do most of the heavy lifting (bless them). I believe in character-driven chaos and making readers feel something—even if they’re not quite sure what.

In addition to writing fiction, I also have experience in content creation, scriptwriting, and editing. I’m comfortable adapting my voice and tone to fit a wide range of formats—from narrative fiction to branded storytelling to collaborative media projects. I’m deadline-driven, feedback-friendly, and genuinely love the process of turning ideas into words that work. 

When I'm not writing, I'm probably eavesdropping in cafés (sorry), rewatching a movie for “research,” or adding too many semicolons to a sentence.
